What Do We Look For In PhD Applicants?

At the FLOWER Lab, we are looking for highly motivated doctoral students who are passionate about understanding how parent-child relationships influence emotional wellbeing for both members of the dyad. If you are interested in our work and would like training to become an independent researcher, you might be a good fit for our lab! Some areas of training include working with children and families, psychophysiological assessment, microanalytic behavior coding, and advanced statistical methods. Lab culture is also very important to us. We value kindness, thoughtfulness, generosity, collegiality, and respect.
